Who we are

  • Rob Landsberry

    Rob has worked in the technology side of the Media and Advertising industry for his entire career. This includes software design, business analysis, programming, testing, documentation and managing teams of designers and developers both locally in Australia, and globally.

    Rob's focus has always been on providing cost effective and practical technology solutions to meet business needs. Rob has a wide range of experience across all software and technical aspects of Media and Advertising, and significant experience in establishing and running offshore teams for both software development and business process work. He's also implemented Business Intelligence solutions and data analytics software, and established large cloud based networks to support the secure processing of global data from diverse systems and sources.

    Rob's most recent experience includes 17 years at BCC AdSystems where he managed all aspects of the team responsible for the company's Media product, followed by 3 years at Standard Media Index designing and delivering SMI's global IT infrastructure and software to process 1/4 of a trillion US dollars of global advertising spend.

  • Leslie Jolley

    Leslie is a media system professional with more than 25 years' advertising and media industry experience primarily focussed on system requirements, business analysis, software design and delivery, and processing systems for the collection, collation and delivery of Big Data.

    Leslie is highly effective at working with users and stakeholders on business, systems and data analysis to deliver solutions that meet users' needs in the most cost effective and timely way possible, and which directly impact on productivity in the most positive way.

    With exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills, Leslie has the ability to take real world requirements and turn them into efficient and functional solutions.

    Leslie's most recent experience includes 12 years at BCC as a Business Analyst working on all aspects of Media and Agency software, followed by 3 years at Standard Media Index managing the process of rolling out advertising spend solutions across 15 countries. More recently Leslie has been consulting to a number of media organisations.

    Leslie and Rob have both worked in the technology side of the Media and Advertising industries for virtually all of their careers. Their skill set includes:
  • Strong Project Management skills and experience at both BCC and SMI, managing large development and integration projects involving multiple parties across many geographic locations.
  • Proven ability to prepare and manage project budgets and produce cost effective solutions.
  • Strong experience in software and data integration projects. These sorts of projects bring unique technical challenges that demand specialist skills, careful management and creative thinking.
  • An understanding of data and communication security issues that will no doubt arise, having dealt with these issues at both BCC and most recently at SMI, where the requirements needed innovative solutions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of virtually all of the 3rd party software and systems in the media market, both from a functionality and technical point of view, having worked on integration projects with them over many years.
  • Software development background from both a design and hands-on coding perspective. This experience is incredibly useful in liaising between technical people and users, and also in brainstorming alternatives where technical issues are involved.
  • Many years' experience in Business Analysis for the Media and Advertising industies, producing detailed requirements and specification documents for both users and technical people. This spans media planning, buying, post analysis, finance, workflow, integration with third party data and software, timesheet systems, and analysis and OLAP tools.
  • Intimate knowledge of the BCC Media and Finance systems having been involved in the design, development and support of the media system at its inception, and managing its evolution over many years.
  • Experience working with the TV networks and other media organisations as part of the integration of their holdings modules with BCC as well as being clients of SMI.
